Curious insight....

In our nations; wealth is figured by what we own, but companies are built around the transport of trucks, right?

I was mulling over this idea - it dawned on me that the equivalent of a truck in the middle east is a camel.

Picture this -

I can't "SPAWN" another F-100 by having another F-100 mate with another truck. (Wish to hell I could!!!)

But for a middle easterner, looking out of his tent - each camel is a TRUCK.

It performs the same function - do you follow my thought?

SO - as opposed to our way of thinking - their trucks reproduce themselves. And therefore their herds are their fleet of trucks, from a certain point of view. THAT is the way it works.

So - someone over there with a lot of camels is the same as someone over here who has a lot of trucks (as far as the locals are concerned).

Dunno if we have had a debate over exactly that here....

What do you think? How does that change the perspective, if at all?

(And what would a FORD camel look like?)

Hmmm....

how ironic is this.... over yonder they have all the oil, and camels for transportation- which need water for fuel. over here we have all the water, and trucks for transportation- which need their oil. funny how things are....

F1hump50?
F2hump50?

Just doesn't roll off the tongue like it should.
Actually I think they're considered the "Ships" of the desert.
So they might be more like some kinda slow speed flat bottom boat or something like a ...a...a..a...a...a..!
Nope nothin!
You just can't cross up critters like that I mean they are the ugliest things on legs!

Of course, if we had them here the government would have emission restrictions on 'em.

A "Ford" camel would look more like an elaphant.

Well , when democrats die they are reincarnated as two hump camels.....that way they will truly appreciate the term .....Bi-Cameral as in governmental structure. You see they never really had any appreciation for the term when they were politicans so after they die they must DO pennance(sp?) and be returned too earth as the ugliest , stinkin'est , creatures that NOAH kicked OFF the Boat........Even the Elephants couldn't stand those camel farts.......neither could all the jewish sailers on the Ark.....they must have been jewish because that was before catholics and Baptists and maybe even Hari Krishnah's....who were trying to collect money from all the folks gettin' on the ark.....anyway I thiMk my history is correct.......
