brakes lockup while driving

I have a 1988 Ford bronco 2 with 4 wheel drive. The trouble I am having is that I can drive it about 6 - 12 miles then all 4 brakes lockup and the pedal wont move. After I let it sit for about 20 minutes it is able to be driven again for the 6-12 miles. I think it is a vacuum issue, just not sure about what where when and how to resolve this. Any help, please let me know. Thank you

i had a similar problems, but with only the front driver side. If you plan on keeping the the truck, maybe its time to replace the entire brake system

I have the same 88 bronco II 4x4...i think it was a total of about $500-750 to replace everything in the brake system

i've had similar problems on the front brakes, mine always sqeal once or twice, grind a few times then push the brakeshoe out of the bracket and in between the rotor and mount bracket, trash the plunger, and rotor, lock up tire.
