I hate the white gauges, the guy that owned the truck a few years ago painted them white him self, up close they look like crap, and they don't work.

this looks really cool.a turbo,with the maintenance ease of an N/A.
does it take a long time to spool up though? getting decent boost?

try ebay. theres a few different guys out there that sell the kits for them, and theres some guys that you send your gauge cluster to them and they do them for you. im going white gauges as well. they can do custom stuff in them too, flames ect. id love to get my truck wheeling image in mine but the damn things changes so often it would look like someone elses truck in there lol

It spools crazy fast, even with all the exhaust leaks it has (getting those fixed)

And as for boost, I'm not sure yet, once I get it on the road and find a boost gauge I'll let you know.

If it doesn't get good boost though my next step will be putting on a hypermax turbo, it's almost a bolt on deal.

I plan on making my own gauge cluster, with the new custom fiberglass dash it will be getting

Nothing too fancy though, just going to make a fiberglass shell and cover it with pleather and diamond plate accents.

I'm also gonna be making fiberglass door panels, head liner, and then I'm gonna get bucket seats and make a center console.

The whole inside of my truck is trashed anyways, so I will be pretty easy. "knock on wood"

Idle seems a tad low, but it does sound healthy.

I'd be interested to know what sort of boost numbers you get out of that turbo pack. Not many of those to be found out there.

That was even with high idle on......maybe I should step up the timing a hair.
