locate fuel pressure regulator
i just bought a 2003 F250 Super duty with a 6.0 and i need to locate the fuel pressure regulator as soon as possible can someone please help

Fuel pressure regulator
The pressure regulator that i got from the ford dealer has a plug on it and i don't see any wires in the photo where do i plug it in

Ford 6.0L Diesel - No wires involved in the fuel pressure regulator. Could you possibly be referring to the fuel pump? It's located on the inside of the frame rail under the driver's seat.

He's probably referring to the Injector Control Pressure Regulator (IPR). Apparently the Ford parts manual calls this the fuel pressure regulator.

IPR valve on an 03 is on the top back of the motor UNDER the turbo along with the ICP sensor. Page 11: Component Locations

Not really a good picture but that's where it is. Does it look like the gold one in this picture: Page 64: Electrical Components ?

that's the one, so it does go under the turbo can you tell me about how long it takes to change and if i need any special tools
