Realistic blue book value?
I don't need the towing capacity of my 06 SDD anymore so I am preparing it for sale. Just trying to gauge a fair price that will sell in reasonable amount of time. It only has 28,000 miles on it and it has been an excellent vehicle. Anyway, KBB states that an excellent condition 2006 should sell for $28150. So, my question is, is this a realistic price or should I go lower? Thanks.

You might not be able to get that much for it, but. Whenever I sell something, I start high. If noone responds to my ad, then I drop the price. Chances are, if someone likes the truck, they are going to make you an offer anyway, regardless of your asking price. Besides that, whenever someone gets someone down on their price, it makes them feel good because they believe they got a better deal on it. How many times have you heard people say that someone was asking XXX for something, and they got it for YYY. So, start high, and come down. Good luck.
