I just bought three off of ebay, take your time and get a good buy. The best one was only $13.00 ,had all the wires for the washer. Two of them were for 80s ,i used one in my 64 falcon as it has no washer. Yes they will fit the falcon if you use the 79 wiper motor. The ones for 80s have one wire missing, I never new that when i bought the first two. So , just because they say its for 79 and older,if you need the washer ask them if all the wires are in it. They are plug and play , just need to hook up the ground wire that is attached.
I just did my dent, pull a part 80's pick pu, un plugged my switch ( 2 pin and the other one) it pluged in to the one going to the box and it is connected to the new switch. Ground the switch and it works great.
I bought one of these from ebay a while back and installed it on my 77. You'll love it. So much more handy.
NOTE: If when you hook it up, your washers dont work, unplug the electrical connector, turn it around the other way, and reconnect it. This happened to me and I had to do a search on here and that's what it was. Apparently the connector will go either way and all you have to do is turn the connector over and plug it back in to get the washers going. Some things really are that simple I guess.
Get one from a mid 80s truck. Most have them and you can get them on the cheep from the junkyards. If you can change the switch you can do this. I have done 3 trucks this way and it is that easy. Read up and search for intermittent wipers ( wiper delay dont bring up much) look here https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/9...nt-wipers.html
