I can't stand it any more! TOO MANY POPUPS that won't go away!

First off most of those pop ups are probably caused by bugs in the registry. Download adaware from www.download.com . This will clean your registry of all ad stuff. It works very well. It will not stop the popups you get from going to internet sites that spawn them for you.

I use this
http://www.panicware.com/index.html to stop pop ups, (almost all of them).
AdAware from www.lavasoft.com to clean up spyware and adware cookies; and I turned off my MS Messenger to prevent those "instant ad" boxes.
Much better now.
