Steering wheel removal

How do I get the cover off? Would like to get a new one all the gray paint is coming off.it has cruise. Thanks

You mean the airbag?

Pop off the caps on either side of the back/side of the steering wheel, unbolt the airbag and remove it. Do all this after unhooking the battery for a few minutes.

Yea got it. Now I see it's the air bag. Guess you probably can't just get the rubber cover.

no but the airbags are on ebay all the time and u can probly make back a little of what a nicer one will cost by recycling yours on ebay. someone who is just looking to replace a deployed one cheap may take it off your hands.
