Getting the Shield below the bumper off

i have a 94' f-150 4x4 and i wanted to see my truck without the cow turd hitter on the bottom of my front bumper. i was wandering if anybodies taken this off and how?

if your talkin about the airdam i took mine off. i just cut it off, then cut off the rivets that were holding it on.

a friend of mine said you can drill through the rivets.
