Couple things come to mind. When you did your front wheel replacement, did you replace the yellow o-rings? They can fall apart and cause a vacuum leak. Also, trace the vacuum lines back to the canister and pump that sits behind the passenger battery.
welcome to FTE, most of the time the problem is with vacuum leak at the hubs, if you have checked that then you should probobly look for checking your vacuum pump, resivore, and lines. Then if your vacuum is ok then check the switch. let us know how it turns out
if you plug both lines at the egr vacuum solenoid it will prob work. Just did it on my 02 F250 7.3. I bought the part for 28 bucks from autozone but it wasnt right, prob have to go to a dealer. But found another post on here that really helped me figure out that it was prob my egr vacuum solenoid.
Ok, scratch that, on the 7.3 it's called the ESOF vacuum solenoid. Nobody will know what your talking about if you refer to egr, thus the wrong part I have in hand. Here is the part 7C3Z9H465-A. But I'd make sure to test plugging the vac lines to see if you dash blows. Hope it helps. the part is 70 bucks from ford.
