whats up...just got a new train horn for my 2002 Ford F-350 7.3 Litre engine....does anybody know where I can mount it, preferably a place where its not visible???
We stuck some panyhose over the end of the horns to keep the dirt out. Not good for water, but we live off a gravel road so the off road part doesn't worry me any.
I was able to mount mine on the pass side of the bed where the fuel filler would go. If you look up under there you have a ton of room. I made a shelf that bolts to existing holes in frame rail and the bottom is flush with the outside bottom edge of the bed. Then I took a piece of rubber and made a larger mud flap in front of the rear wheel in the wheel well to block it from road debris. I fit my whole set up there, comp., horns and tank. Cant see them at all.
