I have been watching the Truck Race tonight from Phoenix. There have been two different ads ran about the Chevy HD trucks and the lack of experience of the new Ford. It shows a baby girl, all in pink, in her baby creeper hooked to a trailer. They talk about how inexperienced she is....Funny stuff
I havent seen the commercial...but if chevrolet is putting that out...they are waiting for a lawsuit from Ford and plus...thats just bad business mojo to outright slander on your competition...especially when Ford backed them up when they were asking for help when they were going broke.
Yea, I heard GM was starting a new advertising campaign poking at the new Super Duty. Something to do with "Max and Al". Haven't seen one of the commercials yet though...
Just the same as the view never changes when you aren't the lead dog , whenever you are in the lead there will always be a target on your back. For as much as Ford has been targeted lately, I would say it's a pretty good indicator of where everybody else thinks their position in the market is!
They should be worried, they make fugly trucks man. I'm sorry but those things are horrendous looking. Who comes up with these ideas and why is there a trombone sticking out the **** end of those things, eh?

I wouldn't say GM is nervous... I would say GM is going after Fords market!
There Duramax is the longest running engine (with upgrades of course) in this segment!
I was going to say the same thing. Exactly how much does the new 2011 LML engine have in common with the many other variations of the Duramax we've seen over the last 10 years? I mean seriously the LML is almost as "unproven" as the 6.7 supposedly is.
Don't be mistaken, I don't have my panties in a bunch. I just find it humorous and love to hear all the justifications thrown out there. Let's face it, those ads are done in desperation. Only an incumbent politician makes ads that show himself to be that insecure.
I'm not against competition. That's part of business.
Someone showed these to me Thursday.
I laughed at the baby walker hooked to the gooseneck!
Stupid little videos though. Can't let them get you mad.
GM is just reaching.
Edit: The comments give me a headache but I had another laugh at the person who said the engine and tranny (Max and Al I guess) are backwards...lol.
Even if the Al and Max are a good combo, you still have to drive whats around it and deal with GMs total lack of warranty if someting does fail. I have 4 Fords now. Untill 2001 all I ever drove was GMs. As me about their warranty!
