They are much better then stock headlights if you can't see thing on the side of the road like the turn off or things that matter the hids will be best for you they also cut threw fog rain an any other type of weather you will run in to unlike stock bulbs do. I have not thought about the projector lens i have the clear ones an dont see why buying a $100 to $300 lens.

I just bought a set of single filament hid's off of ebay that are made to fit into a 9007 housing. The high beam function is lost, but they plug into a 9007 socket and fit into the housing. So you can get a non- bi-xenon kit. mine are xentec brand.

Yeah, I found out after I bought my bi-xenon that I didn't "HAVE" to have a bi-xenon. I'm going to buy a single beam kit soon and get rid of the bi-xenon. There is no difference between the low/high beam, it just re-directs the beam of light. Plus when I'm on a bumpy road, the lights flicker because the magnet is bouncing inside the flicker housing.

I have this but sometimes the High beam would be handy. But they are alot better at night then stock.

Yes, they are MUCH better at night time then stock halogen lights. But with a bi-xenon kit, there is wattage difference between low/high beams. The bulb itself gets sucked into the housing, and re-directs the path of the light on the ground. And when you flick it to hi-beams, the light is not consistent on the ground, so it looks like a light trying to go through a broken headlamp assembly.

They do make a 9007-2 bulb which has a regular halogen bulb stuffed right next to the HID light. HID is your low beam, and the halogen bulb is your high. I've yet to hear any feed back from them though.
