back space

I have a 2000, xlt expedition, I want to replace the factory wheels, does any body know the correct back spacing and bolt pattern to order?

The Expedition uses a 5-135 bolt pattern with a +20 mm offset as I recall. Most tire/wheel places can verify what offset there is. I found the offset at my local tire shop by looking through one of their manuals as I was waiting for a tire to get mounted. I wouldn't worry too much about the offset unless you are going to a really wide tire (ie, 295 or wider-aka 11" or wider). I ran for awhile a set of 315/75r16's which worked fine for on the street(other than having to trim the front valance a little bit), but offroading the tires would have rubbed some. So, that should help you out.
