Well, putting new o rings on ccv and the bolts I have are not OEM nor are they even the thread pitch!!! anyone know what size and or where to look... went to lowe's and home depot....saw a post somewhere its a m6? what ever that means... LOL
6mm sounds about right. You should be able to find them at the local hardware store. You need to figure out what length you need in mm. If you don't have a mm ruler, then measure the length in inches and figure about 25mm per inch. The factory bolt is a countersink Philips head but you can use Torx or Allen drive just as well. The factory bolt has threads all the way to the head (tap bolt) and that is what you are likely to find in a countersink head.
In a pinch, you can use a standard hex or pan head as well but you probably won't find them with threads the full length so you will need to make sure you measure correctly and allow for the added length of the head since it won't fit down in the CS depression.
thanks, I found the diameter and length but its the darn thread pitch thats gettin me (Fine thread)...went to Lowes and Home Depot...Gotta local mom and pop Ace I will try next
