You may be able to add it on to the non 2 way but I don't know.

So far the non 2 way starter has worked well. Most of the times I start it remotely, I can see it or hear it.

I read somewhere for the electric heater to be efficient you need to have the blower on low or medium

I read that in the manual also. When I've had frost at 20°, after 5 minutes, my windshield is half clear. The dodge would have been freezing it on harder with the cold air it would blow.
