I just got off the phone with two local Ford dealers, one clamied it was 78 bucks and the ohter claimed 68 bucks.
But they said that they would have to pull out the computer and hook it up to their computer, and they also said that it's a 50/50 shot at getting it to work.

I'm thinking about getting rid of the diablo chip, and the last time I checked there wasn't a mirco tuner availible for the ranger at the time (4 months ago).
With my manual tranny the benifits of my diablo are only a few HP and an expensive reprogramed speedo, which I could have done for 60-80 vs what I paid for the chip.
I guess hind sight is always 20-20.
I guess I'll have to chalk this one as a lesson learned.
http://www.blackrobotics.com/ try here, they make a speedo calibrator that works with just about everything, no need to reprogram a computer, it's adjustable so you only have to buy it once, and then you could make as many changes as you want. all you'd have to do is re calibrate. hope this helps!
My Ford dlr quoted me $65 (one hour labor) to reprogram the chip. I'm shopping for the scanner to read and write to my computer. Anyone know who makes one?
