Titan is a poly compound material just like the factory tank and the Transfer Flow is an "aluminized steel". I cannot confirm from experience, but I've read that the steel tanks have a tendency to rust which is a bad thing in the fuel tank. The poly tanks will never rust of course and will send any water condensate through the sending unit into the water collector on the frame.

$789 MSRP for transfer flow metal tank compared to over a grand for Titan's plastic tank. Looks like Titan is making some money off of those tanks!!!
