I'm in one of the 42 counties that is visual check, which I knew, and unless you are registered antique or classic, there are no exemptions that I saw. I'm going to call the state hotline when I get off work weds.

The motor was rated 215hp at 4200rpm and 288tq at 3300rpm. As with all Ford products the factory exhaust smothers the motor badly and fitting a free flowing system with headers will improve the TQ output to somewhere in the 330-350 range, but the TQ peak will still be at a rather high rpm.
