Adjusting Camber on 2wd F250

Installed a 2" leveling kit on my truck this week end and follow up with taking it to have it adjusted.

After going to 3 places until I found a place that could fit my tuck on the rack (F250 CC with 8' bed) they did my adjustment and called me back for pickup.

Before I brought it in I noticed that the camber was at a positive \ o /. This was very noticeable. When I went to pick it up I walked by it and it was still very positive \ o /. He said he could NOT ADJUST the camber on my truck.

The guy told me that he adjusted:
TOE: before (L) -0.10 (R) 0.20 after (L) 0.05 (R) 0.05
CASTER: before (L) 3.2 (R) 3.1 after (L) 3.2 (R) 3.2
CAMBER: before (L) 3.6 (R) 3.8 after NO CHANGE!

This camber setting seems extreme! I really need some help, is this right????

I think there is an after market piece that allows the adjustment of the camber. I know something was installed on my 99 that allowed adjustment of something. It was like $30 or so per wheel. I know this is not much help but that was a few years ago and I have slept since then.

After I posted I did more google time. Looks like our trucks do not come with adjustable cambers. I did not think this is right but guess not...

SO I will have to buy a camber kit, right? I see them on ebay but also heard about NAPA selling them.

Anything I should look for?
Is this an easy install?
I fell like I threw money out the window on this leveling kit when I had not planned for this extra stuff like cambers, when I already forked out the 80.00 for the alignment.

Any help would be great!!!
Thanks

They have to install shims (not rally shims but ecentric) on the upper ball joint bolt where it goes through I beam. If they don't have them they can't alien it properly.

They can replace the bushings on the top ball joints, they may have to order the right ones. I have had many problems with the front end on my trucks because of the weight I carry and the horrible roads around here. I have been to many shops to get the alignment done right, and few do. Believe it or not the best place to take it is to the ford dealer[ you may have to go to more than one before you find one that will do it] they are the only ones who have done it right so far. On my new '08 f-250 when they did it last time there was a lot of positive camber, the tires looked like they were kicked out at the top by 5-10 degrees, but this is normal it turned out to be the correct setting for my truck, there is no pulling or tire wear. I know it can be a major pia to find someone to do it right, you just have to look for a good mechanic most of them are simply too lazy to replace the camber bushings to do it right, I have dealt with this for many years.

If the tech doing the alignment was worth a crap he would have known that all you need to do is change the ecentric in the upper ball joint. granted some places may have to order the correct ones, they should have known this, its common knowledge for ANYONE doing an alignment.

Most of them are simply too lazy to do that, and they get pissed off when you tell them you want it done.

Agreed. But I never understood why, its more labor. Usually .5 to 1.0 hour labor per side depending on the application.
