depends on what tools you have at your disposal. If I were you, I'd unbolt the 6 nuts (18mm) from under the truck, pull the bolts up from the top and just slide the bed back a couple feet. 1 man can do that. 2 makes it easier.
if you have a skid loader, fork lift or tractor with forks... makes it real easy (if lookin to take take the bed off) if not oreos way of sliding the bed back works well too!
i put the forks in the bed of the truck laid 2 4x4s across them so when i lifted the forks up the 4x4s would catch under the bed rails, then when snug up against the rails i strapped the tow straps across the 4x4s down to the bed to hold them tight from sliding, then lift it off and set it on pallets or bails of hay... thats just what i did with my chevy worked like a charm but agin that was so i could replace a fuel pump and a few other things while it was off
bein though you only need to get to the body mounts youll be perfectly fine with sliding the bed back
How many leafs should there be in the front pack and the back pack of the truck on my sig? I'm just wondering if anyone else has 8 in the back and 3 in the front?

Is that normal?
front = 2
rear = 5 (and an aux could have been ordered factory.)
if you have 3 in the front,and 8 mains in the rear,she rides very firm compared to stock.
someone set her up to work with little worry about ride quality.

Perhaps it was a heavy duty suspension package from the factory?
Does the helper spring count? I have 7 mains with 1 helper. Ride quality exists only when 2,000 lbs is in the box.
Hey Oreo, or anyone I guess, I got the bushings and am ready to install them. Do you usually have to pull the rad. and the whole front and crap to change the rad. core support? I only ask cause I read on some other forum that that was the only way to change them???
You mean scoot the rad. back? I started removing the rad. core support yesterday and I am pretty sure now that I got it jacked of the body I can change them without pulling the front. Am I right? What the main reason for pulling the front? Do I have to drain the rad. if I do?
