oh, and if you decide to get the set for the rear, theres 2 different types. the rear shackle comes with 2 different size bushings. theres rubber on shackle, and theres rubber with a thin metal skin then pressed into the shackle. you have to make sure you get the right one or it either wont fit or will be loose in there.

also make sure that the spring is facing the right way! iirc there is a front and rear of the spring the center pin bolt is not in the dead center of them

you might want to consider the black ones rather than them red ones.
it seems the black ones don't squeak like the red ones do.

Q: What is the difference between the red and black bushings?

Quote From Energy Suspension's Official Website:

"Both are our Energy's HYPER-FLEX™ performance polyurethane formulations. Energy has impregnated selected black polyurethane components with graphite — to add a lubrication property. Additionally, both Energy Suspension® red and black polyurethane components are engineered differently than OEM rubber components — to be free a floating and non-binding design. This allows for the additional durometer (firmness) of the components, which adds to the performance improvement of the vehicle overall.
just a suggestion.

you dont need to do anything, its just something you might wanna look into. if your cab doesnt line up with your bed then its sagging.

you have to look at the shackle and see if theres a thin metal ring between the metal shackle and the rubber bushing.

the red ones come with a sticky lube that you smother them in before installing.

Thanks again, Ya'll have been great!
went ahead and added the answers in the quote for ya

pull up your carpet/rubber mat. socket up top, unbolt it. a hi-lift jack is safest. can be purchased at harbor freight cheap. just jack up the corners you need the new mount under. the rear is pressed in top and bottom so its gonna take some work with a sawsall. middle and front are easy enough. i just cut everything cause i had new hardware with the body lift ontop of it.

When you say 'socket up top', are you talking about the floor? I have a hi lift jack but what do you mean by 'jack up the corners'?? The corners of the truck??

ya, when you pull back the carpet, theres 2 rubber plugs in the floor that open up a cavity that the bolt sits in. in the rear its topical, you'll see it when you pull the rug back. take the jack under the cab where the outer and under skin come together and jack it up there once the bolt is loose. you need to take the weight off the old body mounts so you can get them out. heres a pic of the mid and rear mouts

Isn't a hi lift jack to big to operate properly under the truck?? Or are you taking about a normal jack now?

Those pics help a lot, thanks. I'll have to refer to those when I actually do it and I'll probably be asking more questions if I run into problems. I'm just trying to get the idea of how I'm going to do it so when I get the parts I sorta know what I'm getting into.

Oh, ok. I have running boards thats why I was confused. I guess those are coming off for this job. Thanks for the number but my phone broke this past week (the screen cracked after in my pocket while using a jackhammer...). If I run into problems I'll probably just post here because the phone is out of order.

Thanks,
snapon

BTW: Did you have to pull the bed to do the back bushings or you just did them while the bed was off?

if your truck sits low enough, you can just throw some blocks on a regular jack and do it that way. i did it with the bed off, it would make it a million times easier to do it without it on.

Ok, that works. I don't have any lift kits on it; just a normal F250HD height with 4x4. I'm not sure if my hi lift jack still works anyway....

Is it that hard to pull off the bed??
