Tire Low Pressure Light
I agree about the pressure. It's the same for running around off road. It would be nice if we were able to adjust the warning pressure minimums. But it's also a good reminder to air up when on pavement for me.
But I really like that system and can speak from experience, I would rather deal with the light on occasion than to completely disable the system.
I agree with what you are saying, but for me, i run pressures as low as reasonably possible for winter traction read: 3 or 4 months of the year.
I would add that a nitrogen fill would probably help with these trucks equipped with TPMS.
I had my tires filled up with nitrogen 3 years ago and have never had to add or adjust. they are about 32 most of the year. they get up to about 35 when it is around 100*F and down to about 28 when it is about -10*F. Which is where i would like them to be.
a 5 PSI spread in a 110* swing is pretty good. and like i said, they dont lose air so i've never touched them in 3 years.
