the one in the clip i posted has a clamp on it.... i believe Clay got a recal on the hoses...so i dont believe the clamp has any thing to do with it...my DI regulated return doesnt have a clamp with that type of fitting and its held up well...
Doesn't the DI system have push lock fittings? Unless I'm missing something I only see one hose with a push lock fitting in the photo.
How many clamps do you have on yours Bob? I plan on clamping every connection on there tomorrow if I leave it on. Luckily it blew off the T and not one of the hard to reach fittings on the head.
Also, mine's about a month old.
Mine has clamps on each end of all of the parker hoses, I just went out and looked to make sure. They are the clamps that squeese on, not screw clamps

i think you mean good year hoses.....with 70 PSI i would think there should be a clamp there now that i see its before the regulator...bad on some bodys part if there is that many with no clamps...the sad news is..if your trucks burn do that mod.....most insurance companies wont cover it...and thats why your resipt said Riff Raff wont cover ether

Ron,
I just took a look at the video again, that hose is split and leaking its not at the hose clamp. Thats the way I see it.
Are these hoses Viton lined? I know those can be finicky with certain connections and clamps. I'm curious as this mod is next on my list along with the in-tank mods.

Valued Customer,
Please be aware that we have encounter two cases since we have started using Goodyear branded hose recently. We do not know if it is a quality control issue on behalf of the hose manufacturer or isolated issues pertaining to installer error. Please check and monitor your FRx system where both hoses from the driver and passenger head join at the "T". If leakage or a tear is noticed, remove system and/or notify us as soon as you can. Because this product deals with fuel we are being very proactive to ensure this is an isolated issue and not something that is an issue with all Goodyear branded hose. We have experienced zero issues in the last 2 years and over 350 units with the Gates branded hose, and want to continue that track record. Only 37 units were manufactured with this new hose so you will have to visually check and make sure your system is even using the Goodyear hose. If you have any questions or concerns please let us know so that we may better serve you.

the problem i see.. it said nothing about the single hose for the return or anything about missing clamps
Those type of fittings are known as push lock fittings and no clamp is required. It has something to do with the design of the barb on the hose. We used them in one of the factories I used to work for they held 100 psi air pressure no problem. Where I work now they do not allow hose clamps we have to use the crimp on type. This is is only becasue the insurance company said so.
One thing we all need to keep in mind, and we all know this, and that is that Clay will take care of his customers when given the chance. I expect we'll hear about a good resolution really soon.

Hey Ron its funny you posted that because you didn't get one. Instead you copied and pasted from a thread on PSN. How do I know that? Because PSN guys like you who don't like Clay for some reason threw a fit so much over there that the word "Riff" is blocked thats why on your copy/paste it says "####raff"
Find something else to do besides trolling forums and trying to make Clay look bad. It makes you look bad...

I fail to see how that makes Clay look bad. In fact, admitting the issue and addressing it with the customers who bought one makes him look good IMO.
Only one person making themselves look bad here so far....................
