Well I think I'm going to pop it out and see if I can fabricate a GPS mount of some kind. I'd like to get that low-centre cup holder back, if I could.

Before I had the truck that has nav built into it I put my garmin in the left corner of the windsheild. Do you not like it on the windsheild?

Ok, curiosity got the better of me. I popped this thing out a few minutes ago. There's a wiring harness on the back of it, connected to a dummy port, so that must be for the super cab air bag shutoff.

I took two pieces of velcro, attached one piece to the upper inside of the box and attached the other piece to a Garmin mounting disk, then attached the Garmin suction mount. It's cooling off here now so I'll let it sit in the house overnight and put it back together in the morning to see how it works.
