so i called auto zone to see if they had these readily available.... supposedly they have to order them... anyone knowa store that stocks these?? I live in WI. any help appreciated.
They dont stock it but if you get on Autozones website you can order one and have it directly shipped to your house...When I did this I also got a 20 dollar gift card with it.
so i might be wrong with this but y is the scanguage able to read egt from the obd2 port but the cts comes with a cable that u have to tap into the manifold?? maybe I'm wrong here??...
Yes, you are wrong! Scangauge ii does not read EGT's. Nor oil pressure, nor fuel pressure. Not even tire pressures! But they do read a lot of things!
ok so imma buy the cts then... what extra cables do i need to measure everything i need to measure on this bad boy?? egt cable, fuel pressure cable? everything else comes thru the obd right???
has anyone ever used or seen this "ultra guage"?? its an LCD screen guage thingy for $70. I dunno though it looks cheapy on the site...
Actually tried one out. The display is actually nice w/ 6 readings on the
page. It can cycle through 3 pages of values.
BUT, they have some problems with the 6.0 PSD on an '05 Ex.
My '05 would NOT work except for RPM, MPH, Volts, ECT.
They updated their compatibility issues after working with me
for about a week to try to diagnose the problem.
AFter about 10 seconds most of the sensors would go to Err.
It will *NOT* be able to read TFT or EOT.
I sold it to a co-worker for their honda and he loves it.
I bought a scangaugeII and it's terrific, I would recommend it.
It *DOES* read TFT & EOT using the "Xgauge" built-in SW!
And has 0 problem with my ODBII connection, so there something
not right about the ultragauge in some 6.0 PSD engines.
I ordered my scangaugeII from Autozone, took about a week
and it's great.
I'm planning to install a separate fuel pressure gauge next.
