How does it blow??

Hey everyone,
Well, as everyone probably knows, the cold weather is among us in the northeast. I have a little dilema. I've never had the greatest performance out of my heater blower since i've had my truck, which is an 1984 f-250 with the 6.9. I've never really worried about it because I haven't driven it in the colder temps. I looks like I will have to for a while this year until I find another vehicle for winter. Well here is the deal, when i turn my blower on high, I don't get a TON of flow. I'm not sure how good they work either. My '86 150 worked pretty decent (i should have pulled the blower out of that before it went to the scrapper). I did fix some wiring going to the blower because the PO did one hell of a job on it. I also noticed that tehre was corrosion in the wiring going to the blower. The truck warms up pretty quick so I'm assuming the thermostat I installed in the spring is working properly and the cooling system is normal. I do have an after market temp gauge that reads about 195 constantly when driving. could my heater core beclogged and not getting coolant flowing? how would I know? anything else I should look at?

do you hear it blowing with force? if not, pull it out and attach jumper wires to it directly.you'll know if the wires going to it,are what's slowing it down or not then.if still spins weak, replace it.they're cheap enough and easy enough to replace.worth a few bucks to stay warm.
iv had ok luck with just using used ones too.

could check and see that the right amp fuse is in the box as lower amp would slow it down.

I hear it blowing but idk if its "with force". I'll have to try jumping it. Now I wish I didn't solder the wires together in place of the harness plug. It was cobbed up anyway. What it does blow out doesn't seem to get too warm which is part of my concern. My coolant is a little low too.
