Pillow barge haha, that's a good name for the big old boats, and I get the point about the rarity of them making a build a headache, but I'm just talking about in concept, a stock engine that can put out 450+ tq is a cool thing, what's so bad about the engines?
I did read the only info I have on them from an Edsel page, and it seemed like the engines there were all top of their classes, 4 bbls stock and all that, so this may be something where I'm looking at a small percentage of the field?
I'd put the 351 Cleveland and the 351M/400 in the same group. I know some may take offense to that.... but many if not most of the components are interchangable between all 3 engines.
The 351c and the 351m/400 are all part of the 335 series engine family.
As to the original question the only "small block" 360 I know of is a mopar (atleast from the factory)

Since your bringing up the lima designation you have to add the 370 into that.
But that is actually STILL wrong. the original LIMA engine was the 2.3 OHC "pinto" motor.
When used as the designation on a 385 series engine it should only refer to the 429 TRUCK engine built after 79 as a seperator from the passenger car 429s built in the late 60s thru mid 70s. Lima refered to the medium duty engines and was never actually connected to the 460s
That is NOT to say that chev based mags that don't know better didn't call all the 385 series engines LIMA, but they write a lot of mistaken info in those rags that confuses a lot of people. Like Car craft claiming the best 385 blocks were the D7TE and D8TE truck blocks being 4 bolt mains. THOSE BLOCKS DON'T EXIST and no truck blocks had 4 bolt mains, that was a chev deal NOT a ford thing
Ahh C'mon Rob... gimme some credit and throw me a bone for spitting all that out my gray matter while at the office! Only a few misplaced brain cells but I got most of 'em, right ?!!!
