Is this normal?

Was the junkyard harness out of the same year truck. I put the wrong year harness in a truck once and the gauge would flutter, don't know about the cab light since I never got around to fixing that. I added a quote from NumberDummy showing the different harness.

All fit: 1978 F100/350 I-6 or V8 / D8TZ14305C & D also fit 1978 Bronco.
