Sorry about this quick hijack but has anybody ever switched from the E99 turbo to the E99 van turbo? Info? Thoughts? I am hearing good things but I was wondering if anyone had personal experience. You can pm or reply on here. But I'm not trying to get the thread off topic. This is Jim's build thread!

Sorry for the lack of pics but I will get more up once I have time to to get on a computer.
On to the updates
Doors are off so all the sheetmetal that can be unbolted is

Did alot of preliminary measuring under the truck and I'm happy with what I found...
1.) frame and body are even so it will lay nicely
2.) Trans crossmember hangs under the frame but the trans does not

Hoping to get the be off on saturday and jig the frame to the floor

plans for sat are to remove the bed and interior and hopefully get the truck jigged top the floor

and no offence, with all that GM aftermarket stuff...... i dont know if i would trust that truck anymore

Not a gm fan myself but their front suspensions are much more suited for laying out than fords I beam set up

I'm pretty sure this is what Jim did. I found a van turbo at a local breakers about a year ago. Turned out to be an e99 van turbo. Jim has(had?) an e99 7.3 so IIRC it was pretty much a drop-in for him, but he'll have to answer to be 100% sure of that.
