You are right. I always change the diff oil at around 1000 miles just to get the metal out from break-in. JMO

tampa and 720deere...thanks for the info. i see a diff oil change in my future. I did a couple on my '04 following the FTE sticky directions that were so graciously posted in the tech folder.
Anyone changed it on their '11?

Same basic differential and the cover comes off the same as it has for 10 years. I don't think you are in for any surprises.
