I just flashed coded my 96 f super duty with a 7.5l v8, the very first numbers it flashed was116,114 in that order after it flashed that twice it did 10 then 212 now shouldn't computer's no matter what flash codes in numerical order regardless of the codes
First off, what issues are you having?
The computer generally should flash codes in numerical order, and you cannot get a mix of two and three digit codes. I'd suspect a miscount while doing the code read.

2nd gear sometimes won't engage it will be skipped but I think it could be related to a different trans issue and the 10 indicates the start of the codes usually when you flash code it will go 10, 111; 111, 10, then the codes start but it didn't do that
10 is just a space between the KOEO and the CM codes.
The KOEO codes 116 & 114 was more than likely because the engine was cold when you did the code read.
The CM code 212 is because someone installed the wrong ICM.
They installed a gray push-start ICM (for 1993 and older trucks) where they should have installed a Black CCD ICM (for 1994 and newer trucks).

Note that most auto part stores and some Ford dealers will try to sell you the wrong gray ICM.
There computer is wrong for our era trucks.
Demand the Black ICM.

I've never replaced our just noticed the code when I was pulling codes for the transmission I'm gonna check for the ICM tomorrow
