You can order on line at DIESELSITE.COM or Call Bob Riley at 888 414 3457
What I liked about their kit was the fact that all necessary fittings, hose shutoff valves etc are included. No running around trying to find bits and pieces. Took me about an hour to install with minimal loss of coolant.

There is more to DIESEL coolant filters than catching up the dirt. The real filter also have SCA chemicals in it, that slowly dissolve over the time to replenish lost balance. Even Powerstrokes don't require SCA testing after filling up with balanced coolant, it doesn't hurt to have it balanced to prevent engine cavitation.
I do own Detroit diesel as well, that with wet sleeves require SCA balancing, so for about $60 I bought the same housing and element for my Ford 7.3 diesel. Probably overkill for the engine with 200k at the time, but I sleep better
You absolutely do not ever want to use SCA charged filters in the Powerstroke. They release way too much SCA into the coolant. They are designed for Class 8 sized engines.
Using Motorcraft Gold, or some people are now using ELC Organic Acid Technology coolants, with proper regular testing, is the only way to do it right.
Read the warnings about SCA charged filters on the DieselSite Coolant Filter page.
Thanks Chambers. I've always wondered about the need for coolant filters too. Since I have a 7.3, no EGR cooler, and over 100K miles, I'm banking on it being unnecessary.
There's been a number of posters in the 7.3 forum who had abrasives in the coolant wear through the engine front cover behind the water pump, filling the crankcase with coolant and wiping out their main bearings.
Make sure you bank enough money for a engine rebuild on it being unnecessary.
