I am looking for opinion on a DynoMax cat-back for a supecrew. Has anyone had one and how do they compare with competitors such a flowmaster, and gibson? Reallisticaly I would like the exhause to exist behind the rear tires or tire and not be very load, deep is ok.
I have a Dynomax, and I am pleased with it. It's fairly quiet, but has the deep tone. I have the Super Turbo muffler; the Ultra-Flow is a little louder. They flow better than Flowmasters, but don't have the scavengining effect like Flowmaster advertises. The Dynomax would free up the exhaust substantially and would be a good upgrade. Super Turbo if you want it quiet, Ultra Flow if you want it to be loud.
Check out the muffler comparison chart at www.exhaustsoundclips.com . Dynomax is probably the way to go. Thery perform great and are reasonably priced.
I have a Dynomax cat back system on my 300zx, I've had it for 3 years now, no leaks as of yet, still sounds great (for a 3.0L V-6).
I also have a set of Dynomax Hemi Super Turbo Mufflers (the biggest ones that would fit under my bed in front of the rear axle) with custom 2 1/2" pipes from the collectors back on my 78 F-150 with a 400, it gets favorable comments all the time.
So, I would recommend Dynomax, they have done all right on my vehicles.
