we have a few of those f-150 raptors in at work with those 6.2s and wow that thing moves! i like the engine over the 5.4l but thats just my $0.02

If i was in the market for a new truck that would be one I would look at. Nothing like big displacement.

Yep, that pretty much sums up my $900 IDI!
You can't tell me this new stuff will live longer than 150k miles, get rebuilt and then do it again.
What kind of price tag are we talking about?
I believe we're all on the same page knowing our IDI's will outlast and outwork any new crap that rolls off anybody's assembly line. Trust me, we won't get into horsepower wars because the IDI is not a powerhouse without "some" tweaking...but power aside, the IDI can't be beat as a cost-effective, simple, reliable power plant for an everyday work horse.
