New member here...tow mirror problem.
Hi folks..just signed up and am hoping some one will show (or explain) a question I have. Details; 2004 F-250 Lariat with tow package and of course the tow mirrors. That is, heated, telescoping,turn and park lights and fold back. The amber lens on the edge is broken out. I still have turn, but no park light. Ford service dept says I have to order the complete mirror assembly, but common sense tells me the front mirror surround is held in by tabs. So, questions are; How to release the surround? Part number for the internals containing the amber lens? If some one can point me to a DIY or explain, I would be most grateful. Thank you.
