I can't see anything when inspecting. I'll have to get it into the shop and really motor around under it.

Now there's a new problem.

when i had a pop, i could also not find it.. turned out it was the upper bushing on the front shackle. I assume it would be somewhat hard to see if your vehicle was at stock ride level. Maybe check that out

lift the front end on blocks or jack stands, then you dont need the power steering. should help. Something is most likely binding and causing the single pop. Hope this idea might help.

I would agree with 91dirtydiesel. With every thing you have replaced it sounds like it is a spring bushing that is making the popping.

There is a TSB for this. If the tie rod linkages are not aligned properly they can turn, and cause the Pop.

Also, check the brake slides.

It still hasn't popped since that pothole. Strange huh?

The only bushings under that truck that are new are the pivot arm bushings and tranny mount. Everything else should probably be replaced.
