Engine Swap
Does anybody know if a 302 motor out of a 1976 ford granada will bolt up to my 1969 f 100 three speeed transmission. Thanks for the Help everybody! Sorry there is a 240 i6 in there right now what do i need to do to get it to mate up?

240
The 240 is a ok. motor..If you not going to hotrod around the 240s a pretty good old motor..I put lots of miles on those old things..They were pretty good on gas If you want to go to the 302 your going to need the bell housing and flywheel moter mounts maybe to clutch too..But theres a lot 302 stuff around..easy to find..bill

The 302 uses different engine perches from the 240. The tranny bell is the same, you will need correct flywheel & clutch for the year correct 302.
Shouldn't be a major deal to make the swap.
