The problem I'm hearing is a thunk & jerk noise or vibration when accelerating from stop, and when braking to a stop. TSB numbers that cover this are: 0196, 0332, 02109, 02192, 03048, 04237, and 030302. a copy of any one of these would be appreciated. My vehicle is a 2001 Ranger Edge super cab 4x4 with a 4.0 engine and auto tranny. Ronk

I have two links in the tech info thread at the top of this forum that should help, read the one on thump/clunk and the one about slip yoke lubrication.
