Won't start

Battery tests good at store they'll say it just needs a charge, they say alternator is good, runs fine when jumped, just won't start on its own. Getting a ground reading from firewall to negative battery terminal.
Pulled starter off, has loose pinion gear and will be stopping at junk yard in the a.m.. Going to attempt to test ignition switch as well.
Any other ideas?

Cranking sounds/acts like in video when problem occurs:

I would test the voltage regulator, check your grounds, and if that is all good then look at your spark.

I would also check your grounds first, as well as the connections at the starter (if they are corroded/frayed)

A jy model starter might not be the best use of your time, it is unknown how long it will last if it is even good...

They are usually around 45 bucks at the part store.

If the ground and connections test good try the starter solenoid. Jump it to rule out anything like the switch or wiring before it.

Grounds were clean.. even cleaned them again, I had gotten an ohm connection from negative terminal to firewall. Gives me same reaction if I jump the solenoid. New voltage regulator

Oh.. Starter had a bad pinion gear, replaced and still the same problem. I get 11.5 volts from battery when truck is on. I can drive anywhere however far.. just can't start it back up.

I'm a little tired, so idk if this makes sense, but could i have a power draw that drained out more than the alternator put in?

What do mean when it's "on?" Is the engine running during that test, or just the
key?

Test at the battery terminals themselves; you should read around 12V with the
engine shut off and around 14.2 with it running at idle.

I can get it started with a jump. And I get 11.5v when the truck is running. But its kind of wierd, it seems like the battery will sometimes slowly climb to 11.8v (if i'm lucky) after the truck is off.
