Take my word for it. I got the tranny temp guage 1st. Climbing mountains in the summer towing the 5er, it'd get above 230F. Installed the TruCool, now have not seen it get above 180F all last summer in Colo, Wyo, Texas, Okla. I have the 7.3, not the V10 cooler, but the (then) $125 TruCool put an end to any concerns about tranny temps. I'd be perfectly comfortable removing my tranny temp guage now.
BTW, I believe photo of the installed cooler in the link IS the 4739.

bunky, i think your right about the photo in that link. i just went back and counted the rows(pics were small) i think its about 14 rows. i think i'm going to pick up the tru cool in the link , but i'm also going to leave my stock v10 cooler and run them together. thanks for your input.
