Throttle Body Cleaning

I just installed a K&N filter, since the one I had was shot. After installing it, the truck kept on stalling at a stop and when turning at low speed. I searched and found that the throttle body might need to be cleaned...so I cleaned it and sure enough, it does not stall any more. here is a pic of what it looked like on the back side of the butterfly (the front side I had already wiped off a bit before I though of taking the pics).

Heres after I cleaned it...

What did you use to clean it and how did it start up after you cleaned it?

I got some throttle body cleaner from autozone. It started kind of rough at first but it cleared up after a few seconds...

That doesn't surprise me you found this issue after installing the K&N because they increase the air flow and the TB just wasn't able to keep up being that gummed up. Thanks for sharing the pics this is something I need to do here soon.
