Hi guys, I know there is alot of info on this, but I am stranded on the side of the road with not much access to search. I have a 2005 F250 with a no start situation. I installed a new ficm about 8 months ago from swamps, and have the AE software on hand. My desired ICP reading is 683, but I am only getting around 280psi actual. I am thinking I need 500 psi to make it fire. Any ideas to get me back home? I am stuck in North Carolina and headed back home to Florida pulling the camper. I read somewhere you could unplug the ICP sensor?
It is always easy to disconnect the ICP to see if the sensor is bad. Most likely it is the STC fitting on the HPOP (or at least seom other form of HPO leak). Sounds like a tow is in order. I know of a few shops in the Jackson,TN or Franklin,Tn area if you need a recommendation.
I know of a couple of spots in North Carolina that could help you depending on your location, especially if you are near Winston-Salem or Hendersonville/Asheville
I am right off I-40 in Asheville at smokey park hwy. Anyone that you could recommend would be helpful. I have my 34ft Travel trailer hooked up as well. What are those places ncpartsman?

Spartan Diesel technologies is in Hendersonville, which is about 10-20 miles from you. I am quite sure he can fix your truck. The business number is 828-606-3263. I would NOT recommend the dealership in Hendersonville.
I contacted Spartan Diesel Technologies, and their tech is off for the weekend They were very helpful, and are trying to find alternatives for me. Seems most everyone here is closed on Saturday for any service on a diesel! I sure wish I was able to have Spartan work on my truck. You never know what you are going to get when you deal with a dealer.

I'm glad you were able to get hold of them. You might try Trucks Unlimited in Winston Salem. That is 2 hours from where you are but I know he works on Saturday and is the ONLY other person I would recommend in your area. The shop number is 336-764-5657. Ask for Scott. He is the owner and tell him Tim from Arkansas told you to call.
Just got off the phone with Scott. He is waiting on your call.

Dang Tim - you are worth at least twice what you are getting paid!
Hope the rep points are coming your way, I have to wait but you can be sure I will get you when I can.

BWAhahahahaha---nothing time nothing still equals nothing, but we do what we can, right Mark??? I've been in those shoes and they aren't comfortable on anybodies feet, especially that far from home. Hopefuly he'll call Scott, but I know the tow bill will be horrendous. At least he'll get home sooner than later AND the truck will be fixed right.
And if nothing else, he'll get to see some of the MOST beautiful fall scenery in the country. That's one thing I do miss about western NC in the fall.
190 Miles from here to where Scott is. Tow bill was nasty at that distance. Spartan Diesel arranged for my truck to be towed in, and are trying to get someone in on Sunday to look at it. I am not sure where the ICP is located. There are two sensors on top of the passenger side valve cover. It seems I remember that one of these was the ICP? Anyway I unplugged both of these and no change. I am assuming that I should have more than 230psi reading on my ICP. AE software showed 680psi called for, and only 230 psi actual. Anyway, I will keep you informed of the outcome and my experience with Spartan Diesel. Thanks to everyone for your help. Your expertise and help are most appreciated!
