I sell barely used new vechicles all the time. I just get bored with them. And if you haggle with the dealer enough and sell them early enough you don't take a loss. For example:
2007 F150 FX4 I sold two years later for $2000 less than what I paid for it
2010 F150 SCrew FX4 I bought brand new, traded in 6 months later for $500 less than what I bought it
2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT 8, bought it for $30K, sold it 6 months later for $30K
I currently have a 2010 F150 SVT Raptor with the 5.4L, I have it listed for what I paid for it and will most likely get it as other prices I have seen I am very well priced.
Not all vehicles for sale that are really new still are lemons.
And with increased rebate, a coupon that seems to be floating around, and in my area a 1000 trade in assistance, new really is the better deal at the moment.
That has been my experience as well. The used ones I am seeing are listed for more than I can get a used one for.
