Those used 6.7s are about the same price as you can pick up the new ones...in fact the XLT I bought has more options and I paid less than their buy it now price on the XLT!
I purchased my 2011 F-350 Lariat used in september. It was built in june. I guess the guy before me wanted a f-150 afterwards and traded it in with 4,400 miles on it. I went and bought it on september 25 for about $8,000 less then the original sticker on the truck of $54,975. It was a good deal, but what I didn't like was the fact my 2006 f-350 dually was only worth 11,000 on trade-in....
lol Just talked to them again about pricing, I got to say they were honest with me about why they think they can get this price., since they are also sold on Ebay, they usually get thier price that they want for them. Fools borned everyday I guess. If they dont sell after a listing or 2 then they start to lower the prices.
Ps you should look at thier inventory of used vehicles, I have not seen a place like this before, Huge ! everything from A TO Z .......
i flew in and bought a truck from texas direct once and will never do it again. Was given a clean carfax but 4 months after buying it paint on the passenger doors started blistering. 3 months later the door ajar dinger never stops dinging. have replaced the front wheel bearing 2 times in 4 years. I really think they buy wrecked/waterdamaged cars and trucks fix them and sell them.
Not all are lemons. Mine has had no problems, just over all I wish I had gone with a 350 (and want the new monotone leather). I figure this truck will only go down in value so now is as good as time as any to trade it. Just trying to decide for sure I I want to take the hit or not. Its hard to make a decision when you have to order the truck you want and wait. If they had a 350 DRW exactly like I wanted it yesterday then today there would be a good used 2011 450 sitting on Ford's lot.
And with increased rebate, a coupon that seems to be floating around, and in my area a 1000 trade in assistance, new really is the better deal at the moment.
