I have a 2000 Expodition with a 5.4 Triton. Whlle sitting still and idling you can hear a load vibration coming from underneath the front passenger seat area or just below it under the floor. It vibrates for about 5-10 seconds and them stops. It is as though it is some kind of pump that is vibrating but not sure. Colud it be the Transfer Case Actuator (My Navigator has automatic 4WD). Or, could it be the Suspension Compressor or the ABS Pump?

It could very well be the air suspension pump. Lift the hood and do whatever it takes to cause the vibration to start and be ready to check it right away.
I have a similar problem i have a 97 EB expy 5.4 107,775miles regular maintenance and while i am at a dead stop it starts to vibrate under the seats and sounds the same way. I don't believe i have the air bags on my suspension so i know its not that. i was thinking maybe an exhaust leak but i am not sure

Check the heat shield at the cat and the muffler first as they have a tendency to come loose.
