Engine oil on injector?

I was pulling the injectors today to replace the cross threaded one and cylinder #4's was coated in oil on the bottom half. Stuck a clean brass rod down the hole and it cam up with about 1/8" of oil on it. Truck has been sitting about 5 days for parts except for the few minutes I ran it to find the fuel leak on the cross threaded injector. Oil level is correct. Ran fine until I started replacing the fuel returns which led to new injectors and a #6 cylinder fuel pipe. Could a dirty or bad CDR valve have put enough oil in the intake and it is draining to the ones wth open intake valves as it sits? It seems like the further I get into it the worse stuff I am finding .

theoretically it could be a leak in the vally pan gasket, it could also be a cracked block. there a lot of things but cheap things in there first before anything serious. i would recommend cleaning out the intake and essentially removing all injectors and gp's then cranking it over to blow all the crap out, or shop vac'ing it all out with a bit of kerosene or some kind of petroleum cleaner. if it fills with oil again, i would pull the intake and valley pan gasket to get some eyes on it.
