Dash panel customized!

Hi ford fans

looking to customize my gauges. I was thinking about a solid piece of aluminum covering the entire area that the plastic gauge trim would, and cutting out the slots for switches, gauges, heater controls, radio etc.

anyone done this?
any pics?

There are a few threads here, in this section even, that are dedicated solely to dash customization. Those should help give you some ideas.

That seems to be a pretty common way to do it and not to difficult. There are some cool setups in those threads listed by Chase.
