Looking for a 48-50 Truck

I know someone looking for a no rust 48-50 F-1, F-2, or F-3 truck in the $700-$2000 range. Engine and transmission or lack thereof not important. Appreciate any leads...

Too bad they aren't interested in an F5. I need to get rid of mine as it has been sitting in storage for several years and it looks like I won't get to it. Doesn't run but the sheet metal is pretty solid.

If the NH area is anything like the upper midwest, a $2000 F-1 is not going to be rust free, even without an engine.

Good luck, there's a lot of project out there that aren't going to get to. Look with a project with a woman involved. I've come across a couple of good deal from sellers who had a wife or girlfriend who wanted the truck gone.

Del, send me a PM as to price, location, and pictures if you have any. I'll pass the information on...

.
Bob, I think he would settle for "minimal" rust if the price was right...

If I wasn't so far away, I'd say he could come and take my two F1's away for $500.

I can find you a whole bunch out here in that price range. Shipping, though, would be expensive.

49 F1

friend of mine has a 49 f1 with a flathead v8 and 3 sp motor is free but ony rotates so far then stops like it has a stuck valve of something or other has mostly surface rust and only minor deep rust this truck has the chome trim and grill not sure on the trim level.truck is mostly complete it would be a good project truck.
The owner is 87 and is cleaning out his collection of cars due to him selling the place and has to be out and all cleaned up buy next summer so he is trying to sell them first and then crushing them if he cannot find buyers so hint hint they are all going for 3-500 he has 50+ cars and truck lots of coupe mustangs and f-100's from the 60's and 70's he also has a bunch of chevy trucks and galaxy's also 3 2ton? trucks 1 is a 38? ford with a dump bed on it as well as a dodge 40's with a stake bed on it and last but not least a chevy with a stake bed. o and he also has a bunch of late 60's chevy cabs and pretty sure i saw a model a 4 door body that was in pretty good shape only surface rust.

so pass this on to everyone you know so we can find these cars new homes and not turn them into paper clips they are located in eldorado ks and will all be crushed or sold by next month or so weather permiting EXCEPT for the ones i can save!!!!!

email me if someone is interested and i can come up with details and pictures. he also has parts out the *** i hauled 16k in motors last week so times a ticking. nothing he has is a show car or a something super rare

Where are you guys located???

There are a number of us looking for useable sheetmetal all over the place. If you say you know where some useable sheetmetal or good rebuildable trucks are - - I have a friend who is looking for good fenders here in S.E. Wisconsin. - - Please say at least what state or provence you are located in or where the trucks are at.. I for one have seen several f1's on the back roads in the U.P. on my last trip from Wisconsin. I will be going up in two weeks and I will get photos and details if they are possibly for sale.

Thanks, Marty

So where is the 49 F-1 located? The person looking for a truck actually lives in Ontario about two hours north of Michigan but would consider transporting a truck...

They're both dismantled in pieces. It would be a matter of gathering everything up, and putting it in a U haul or trailer of some sort.
