I also forgot to mention that i did swap the HPOP's to a 17*. I found a Ford rebuilt on ebay for $100. Stole it because they guy didn't put up a pic, just a part number! There's deals to be found out there, just keep an eye out. But if you wanna get stupid like I have a tendency to do (and wonder why your credit card never gets paid off) you can drop in a Terminator HPOP and be good for whetever sticks you ever want to run. I put mine on AE once and IIRC i was getting up to about 3600 psi, so that'll work for me.

Perfect. I'll keep looking. Will the 17* run a stage 2's with a D66? Will I need a bigger and badder fuel pump with all that extra power?
Yes you can run stage II's with a 17* HPOP, assuming you wann run single shots, which will require tuning to do so. If you wanna run split stage II's, you still can, but I'd guess that it won't be as efficient or powerful at the higher end of the powerband.
Other than you can run splits (not doubles hehe) with stock PCM (or tuning) if your tuner takes a crap, nothing, and they're more expensive. Single's will give you better fuel economy also, because the splits utilize a pilot shot of fuel to start the combustion process early and quiet down the engine some, that extra fuel costs you more at the pump. Yeah singles are a bit louder, but its a diesel, they're supposed to be noisy.

Stock FP wil easily handle II's.
I suggest you install an in cab electrically isolated fuel pressure gauge. I personally wouldn't be without one. Great way to monitor your fuel system and they are a great diagnostic tool. Quite a few no starts, rough running and power loss problems are fuel related.
